Rutland Mills has been derelict for 20 years. During this time, the nine Grade II Listed buildings have become dilapidated and in a poor state of repair. Investor, City & Provincial Properties selected the site for redevelopment and to establish ‘Tileyard North’.

Howells Patent Glazing has supplied and installed an area of dual-pitched roof patent glazing for a new build two-storey office on the Radnor Hills site in Mid-Wales. Built using its HG57 aluminium bar , the roof glazing system forms a central atrium allowing light to pour into the workspace below. Daylighting supports Radnor Hills sustainable ethos by helping to reduce its dependency on electric lighting and therefore, cut energy costs.

Work is now complete on a £4.4 million expansion of Kingswood Academy in Hull, following an increase in demand for places.

The new Russell Building comprises 12 new classrooms; two offices; a new dining area and servery, including indoor and outdoor seating; toilets; and plant rooms.  A further 72 parking spaces have also been created.  It has enabled the academy to create a further 150 places for students.
