This prestigious contract was successfully completed by Howells Patent Glazing Ltd in April 2011. Our customer was Seddon Builders of Stoke.
The works involved the construction of an all new orangery roof to Alton Towers Castle, which forms part of the renowned theme park.
The glazing contract took place over 4 months, with a value of £ 110,000.00, and a resolute completion date to align with the park season opening.
The glazing bar was an adaptation of our best selling HGR 1 rafter bar, adapted to suit the narrow timber rafters, which were considered to be an important part of the original design and appearance of the building.
An exciting and challenging contract which, we hope you will agree, looks eye-catching, and is a good representation of bespoke work carried out to a high standard
